I adopt a socio-legal approach in my core areas of research. I collaborated with Amanda Perry-Kessaris and Diamond Ashiagbor on a reading group and workshop on Economic Sociology of Law. We published papers from the workshop in two special journal issues of the Journal of Law and Society and the Northern Ireland Legal Quarterly. I have taught Sociology of Law with my colleague Professor David Nelken at King’s. I organised the Transnational Law Summer Institute (TLSI) in 2015 and 2016 with my colleague Professor Peer Zumbansen. The key lectures delivered at TLSI 2015 will be published by Cambridge University Press shortly. I am also editing with Professors Mariana Valverde, Eve Darian-Smith and Kamari Clarke the Routledge Handbook of Law and Society.
